Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to consider contributing to our Non-Profit Charitable Organization (80525 4166 RC0001).
We are the Vancouver Virology Centre (VVC) Society and we are a non-profit organization within the heart of Downtown Vancouver. VVC was founded by local physicians in efforts to provide outreach initiatives to marginalized populations in our community. The clinic consists of dedicated physicians, their support team which includes a Research Manager, an administrator, students and numerous volunteers whom are excited to delivery the best medical care to individuals regardless of age, race, gender, orientation or religion. VVC is dedicated to helping marginalized population through clinical research and outreach programs. We trust that our efforts and findings will continue to create a positive impact within our community. We hope that our healthcare initiatives will encourage others to follow in our lead.
Presently, BC is in the midst of a public health emergency due to the unacceptable rates of IV drug use, opiate abuse and drug abuse related deaths. We as a community need to come together and help each other. Currently, there have only been very few programs that have been successful so far. VVC Society through our outreach program not only identifies new HIV/Hepatitis C positive individuals and people who use drugs, but we also take the unique step to re-engage these individuals in the healthcare system in hopes to empower them to take control of their health.
We are in the process of expanding our mission nationally as a tool to be used in prevention and eradication of major causes of death in our community. This is your opportunity to contribute to your community by helping us fulfill our mission. Without your support, we cannot sustain our efforts.
Kind regards,
